Statement of Faith

Hebrews 11:1, "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen."

My Faith is built on the love of Jesus Christ. My mission is for me to live is Christ, and my vision is to be Christ-like.

  • There exists one God (existing as Father, Son Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit), and He holds sovereignty over all.
  • We have all sinned against God, and the punishment is eternal spiritual death.
  • Jesus Christ suffered/died on the cross for our sins, and rose again from the dead.
  • Salvation is through Jesus Christ, all we have to do is confess+repent our sins, and ask God for forgiveness.
  • The meaning of life is to live for Christ (love God, love your neighbours, follow His commandments, and submit to His authority).

Bible Verses

Here are some Bible verses I especially enjoy.

1 Chronicles 16:34, "Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for His steadfast love endures forever!"
Proverbs 19:21, "Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand."
Matthew 6:33-34, "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."
Matthew 22:37-39, "And He said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life."
1 Corinthians 10:31, "So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."
Ephesians 2:8-9, "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast."
James 1:2-3, "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness."
Romans 6:17-18;22, "But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed, and, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness."; "But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life."
