Statement of Faith
- There exists one God, and He holds sovereignty over all.
- We have all sinned against God, and the punishment is eternal spiritual death.
- Jesus Christ is God, and He died and suffered on the cross for our sins.
- Salvation is through Jesus Christ, and all we have to do is ask God for forgiveness.
- The meaning of life is to live for Christ.
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
I believe evolution is a completely valid scientific theory. Antibiotics was discovered in 1911, through the simple process of survial of the fittest, the vast majority of antibiotics do not work anymore due to antibiotic resistance in just a span of one century. I believe its entirely possible to create humans via the evolutionary process. However, I choose to believe we were created by God (rather than evolution), not because of any logical or scientific explanation, but rather via faith alone.
In fact, I do not believe in the compatiblity of Christianity and science. Jesus walking on the water and healing the dead, by its own very definiton, defies the fundamental laws of physics and biology.
My faith in God is via faith alone.
